Dont really need to say much else... cute

Laughing

There is something about a baby's laugh that is infectious and just makes you smile. Hope this clip of Tory giggling makes you smile :)

I love this little girl and she makes me smile all the time.

New Van

Well we bit the bullet this week and bought ourselves a second vehicle. We took advantage of Chrysler going out of business and got an amazing deal on a 06 Town and Country van. The previous owner was an older gentelmen that never drove and didn't have kids running around in it. So it only had 12,000 miles and is in brand new shape, no rips, stains or holes inside at all.

The kids are so excited about their new van, Kelsi is sitting at breakfeast and asking if she can please just go down and look at the van, Gabe is begging to take Kelsi to school so he can ride in it, hmmm just to ride in it :). They are showing it to all the neighboors that come by, the garage door is getting openned and closed constantly from them. I am happy they are so excited.

I love all the room and space, Gabe is finally putting his seatbelt on himself. Tory sits and plays and laughs without someone poking her or taking away her toys. Blessed relief from squeezing all those kids into the backseat! Jeff says this one is my vehicle, maybe he still dosent want to be included in the mini van era, but hey he still has his motorcycle for the testerone outlet!

Goodbye Cubby

Our dog Cubby went to a new family today. Cubby has been a good dog for our family, He is good with the kids and he loved to play fetch and run around with the kids. I have loved taking him on jogs and playing with him. Kelsi loves her dog and is very sad to see him go.

I had really mixed emotions putting Cubby up for sell, I love animals and have enjoyed having him around. The kids have learned to take care of him, they have been the ones feeding him daily and taking care of the dog doo. But with all the stress we have been experiencing with Victoria I had reached my breaking point. Even though I know this is a good decision for our family right now and will help ease some of the stress that I have had, I am really sorry to see him go and am really sad about it.

Bound and Determined

Jeff was out working on the shed putting up shingles on the roof and Tory was bound and determined to get to him. She was going to get her daddy no matter what, the grunting and pointing wasn't getting her anywhere, so she took matters into her own hands. She crawled over to the ladder and started climbing. She made it all the way to the top without any assistance... I was behind her ready to catch her the whole time :). You know fear is a good thing. Good job to Kelsi who captured the shot! That ladder is 8 feet tall.

Saturday Projects

We spent Saturday working on our newest project. We have been wanting to build a shed in the backyard for a while now, there is just not a ton of storage space here. So we spent all week digging and leveling the foundation, and getting ready for a day of work on Saturday getting it up and then we woke up to it pouring sheets of rain. Luckily the rain broke after noon and Jeff's dad showed up and they were able to get the shed put up. We still have a little work to do on it. We need to put shingles on the roof, and paint it. Any color suggestions? Then the daunting task of cleaning out the garage and moving things to the shed. We are really happy with the way it turned out. Here is a picture of Gabe working with Dad and Grandpa. He was having a lot of fun.
