Well time to toot our horns again. This saturday me, Jeff, Eric (my brother) and ChristyAnne (my sister in law's sister) finished the Blacktail Triathalon. This triathalon was voted by USAT (USA Triathalon) the most difficult triathlon in Idaho, Utah and Wyoming. I completed a 1/2 miles, 13 mile bike ride and a 3 mile run in 2 hours and 3 minutes. 6th in my age division. Jeff finished a 1 mile swim, 26 mile bike ride and 6 mile run in 3 hours and 4 minutes. He was 7th overall, I am not sure about his placement in his age division yet. It was insane race. The weather was perfect for racing and the water temperature was just right as well. The bike course is an insanely hard course Just to get a feel for the bike course here is a shot of the hill you start the bike ride on and it still goes on after this shot.
We started the hill climb way down there by the water. The rest of the bike ride is all hills, just not as insane as this one.

We ended and started at the bottom of this hill. Then we moved on to the run which was a trail run loop. It was a nice run course.
Here is a couple of beautiful shots of us in the race.

Here I am finishing the bike course, you cant ride your bike into the transition area so here I am running it down.

Good Job guys. I am proud of you!
We love all the pictures! It looks like you guys had a really fun weekend up there. I remember playing in your backyard when it was being flooded. Those pics brought back some memories. Good job on the Race!
Way to go! I'm proud of you both. That's something I could never do.
You are both inspiring and buff.
Congrats! That's awesome! So this is the triathalon you want me and Chris to do right? Hmm, I don't know if I want to do it anymore after you just talked about how incredibly difficult it is!
Thanks everyone, we are really proud of it. It is a really tough course but it is really fulfilling to do it.
