Weekend Activities

Kelsi and Gabriel have been at my parents for the week playing with them. They had a blast and haven't stopped talking about all the fun stuff they did. They came home acting so good, they have been so well behaved and so nice to each other... mom what did you do?! They have been so fun to have home again. Kelsi was talked to her dad on friday night after Kelsi had talked to some of her friends on the phone, he was asking her what we should do when she got home tomorrow and she said she wanted to schedule a play date. Jeff a little taken back said I was hoping you would want to play with me. So she said she thought she might be able to "pencil him in for a half an hour"..... Anyways we are happy they had so much fun and its nice having them home.... On a side note you would think I would have been able to get tons of things done with just Tory but not even close. She was so demanding, I was lucky to get one project done a day and the house still isn't clean!!!

Gabe is determined to learn how to ride a two wheeler bike. He is so close and doing so good. He went all the length of the cul de sac yesterday! Good job Gabe!!!

Kelsi playing with Tory, Tory changed her attitude when they got home. She must have been missing them pretty hard!
Playing on the tire swing. Tory thought it was so much fun she was finally big enought to get on there with them. She is getting to big to fast!
The kids having fun in the wagon.

Jeff teaching my kids how to get more stiches... as if Gabe needs any help!

My Firecrackers

Here is a cute picture of the family after the 4th of July. We had a great time, the kids, mom, Christy and Brody went to the I.F. parade and they enjoyed that, well for the most part... poor Gabe just did not have fun. He doesn't have the killer go get em attitude so he kept getting passed on for candy or had it taken before he got there. Plus he hates loud noises so the gun fire and sirens really did him in. He ended up sitting on grandma's lap away from the parade for the last bit of it. But Kelsi and Brody had fun! Then we went to the green belt and walked around and saw all the fun festivities and I got a nice little sunburn. We bought some fireworks and had fun doing that until the end when Gabe put one in his mouth.... got himself a nice little burn. I had a great 4th, Gabe not so much!

Motorcycle Trip

Jeff was able to go on a motorcycle trip this last weekend with my dad, my brother Blake and Stewart. They had a great time. They went up through Yellowstone over to Cody Wyoming. They did a lot of sightseeing and went through some beautiful country. They only got hailed on once and rained on plenty. Here is some pictures of the trip.

All ready to go and me to stop nagging him to be safe.

Kindergarten Graduation

Kelsi finished Kindergarten last week. She has done so well and has learned things that I did not start to learn until 2nd grade. She is a smart kid and we are proud of her and how well she has done. She is excited to start 1st grade in a couple of weeks. Mostly because know she gets to take her lunchbox to school! Here is a few pictures of her at her program.

When I grow up

Let me give some background on this one. Jeff's favorite joke... whats righteous enough to be translated but to heavy to lift up... a BYU coed.... on and on fill in your favorite BYU joke here....

So anyways we were were talking yesterday and Kelsi came up and said dad I can be whatever I want to be when I grow up right, he said of course... Then Kelsi said I want to go to BYU and be a BYU cheerleader. You can image Jeff right now, swallowing pretty hard right.... Then Gabe pipes up yea me too dad I want to be a cheerleader, that about did him in. So after a little talking to Gabe and he figured out what a cheerleader was, how "they cheer for the ones doing all the work" Gabe decided he wanted to be a football player and that Kelsi would cheer him on as a cheerleader.... things were somewhat ok after that, he is still working on the school though!

Tough Man

Gabe is such a funny kid, he is moving into the superhero faze and he is torn between Transformers and Batman.... He wanted me to take a picture of him showing off his muscles and being tough like they are.
