I survived a birthday party for 20+ kids this weekend... holy smokes was it a lot of work! But Kelsi had a blast. It is so fun to see your child feel so special, everyone wanted to be by her and play with her. She got spoiled rotten. We did simple games like hot potato, charades, red rover and everyone seem to enjoy themselves. I attempted a princess cake, which I am conveniently not posting a picture of ( I learned the trick to cake decorating the next day... freezing the cake, boy that would have been useful info!) But Kelsi thought it was the prettiest thing she had seen... she came in with her mouth open and big eyes, so that made it worth it! It was a fun day for Kelsi and I believe every kid deserves to be spoiled like that every once in a while.

How fun!! Kelsi will be sure to remember that day. I remember my 6 year birthday party very well. Like it was yesterday. Great job!!
You are a brave woman! First, I don't know if I could pull that off, and second... There is no way I could handle 20 kids. I applaud you. It did look like a blast. You're a fun mom. You know she is going to remember that party forever. I wish you would of posted a picture of the cake. I bet you are just being modest and didn't want to boast about what a gifted cake decorator you are. I've seen your work; you've got a real talent. Oh, I feel terrible about not knowing about her birthday. Can you email me your address so I can send her a birthday gift. That is what a good aunt would do.
